Consultations are an essential way of getting to know your child prior to their anaesthesia visit. Due to COVID-19 protocols, we will now be doing most consults over the phone. Your consult will be scheduled with the anaesthesiologist, a registered nurse and/or the dentist as required for your situation.
Please be prepared with all medications and illnesses your child has at present or had in the past (Including birth history). We will go through a detailed plan of the most appropriate way to anesthetize your child on the day of treatment. Your child’s treatment will be finalized on the day of anesthesia, but options for treatment can be discussed. It is beneficial to send us any x-rays or additional information from your referring dentist as well.
At Little Dreamers Dentistry, we do accommodate adult patients and are happy to discuss your treatment and what type of anaesthesia best suits your needs. Due to Covid-19 protocols, we can perform phone and video consults, however adult treatment plans can vary and a face to face consultation may be scheduled in order to best assess your circumstances. Any consultation, will be friendly and short with just a mouth mirror. We will try our best to provide a safe and comfortable setting to make your visit stress free!
